Common questions.
Cost, getting started, data protection, migration: the seven questions animal welfare organisations ask us most, answered briefly and honestly. Anything missing, tell us in the questionnaire.
Tell us about your organisation in the questionnaire — it takes about three minutes. We come back to you and set you up. Partners go first: hands-on onboarding, a direct line to our team, and early access before the platform is generally available. There is nothing to install.
Not in one go. You can start with a single area — shift planning, say — and bring the rest over later. We import from spreadsheets, paper or an existing program; the questionnaire asks what you use today, so the right data comes across.
That is who it is for. An association with twelve volunteers and no IT department should be able to set Taildesk up itself — every feature works without full-time administration behind it. If something only works with a paid office role, we built it wrong. Small associations are the benchmark, not the exception.
It belongs to you. We do not sell data and do not pass it to third parties that have nothing to do with running the platform. Hosting is in the EU, and you can export your data again at any time.
That is our bar. Anyone taking a shift or adding an entry should manage it without a manual. Anything that only makes sense after a training session is a design flaw to us.
Through the questionnaire — five short steps in which you tell us what actually hurts in your day-to-day work. Your answers set our priorities, not our own wish list: what several organisations name independently is what we build first. Take part and you see what came of it first.
